For this show I collaborated with a great artist, my art sensei, and last but not least my husband, Yukihiro Taguchi. On the 7th June I will go to Okinawa for about 2 months, that’s my first art residency and I am so happy that will be in the wonderful island in the south-south-south of Japan, as a Sicilian I kind of feel connected to Okinawa…SOUTH ISLANDS POWER!!!
I am honored to take part to a great theater project with my illustrations, and collaborate with great people there to create the scenography. I am so excited and looking forward to being there.
The show will be in the end of July in the Garaman Hall of Ginoza. I will post more details about it very soon.
Here we are again, Berlin! I was one month in Japan and just came back to reality…
It was a great time and time flied faster then I imagined.
I came back full of new ideas and energy to immerse myself in my new projects! Now it is a count down to Bologna Children’s Book Fair, I’m working on couple of new books and I will update the progress here and on my social networks.

It has been a while from last the time that I updated my Etsy shop. So today I uploaded this vintage dish, made in DDR, I painted it last year with a hippie-gipsy-woman illustration, with her delicate flowers crown.
What? You were just thinking about a bohemian touch for your kitchen? Then you definitely need this dish 😉
Back to Berlin after had spent a December escaping the cold winter, before in Hong Kong – I fell in love with this city in a way that I couldn’t never imagine – and then in my beloved homeland, Sicily.
But I couldn’t escape forever, so now it’s time to come back to the cold reality and, I have to say, I missed Berlin! So let’s start the 2017 with a lot of new exiting projects!
Have a look to my fresh uploaded works:
These cute wedding bowls I did for three couple of friends.
Watercolor sketches I painted in Barcellona, inspired by the autumn.
And some fashion portraits for a friend who had a genial idea about a very chic salad bar.
And lot of new stuff is boiling in the pot. Stay tuned!
