Chiara Ciccarello, queer and feminist artist based in Berlin
Chiara Ciccarello, the creative force behind Ciccaboom, is a queer, feminist artist who breathes life into paper with bold colors and powerful messages. Her artwork is like a colorful punch to the status quo, celebrating bodies, identities, and sexualities in all their glorious diversity.
Grew up in Catania (Sicily, Italy) and now based in Berlin, Chiara brings Sicilian flair to her bold, Berlin-inspired creations.
Though she originally pursued a career in architecture, Chiara found herself drawn to the expressive freedom of painting after a few years in the architectural world. Trading blueprints for brushes, she embraced the figurative style, using her art as a form of activism.
Chiara Ciccarello’s dynamic artistry extends to theater scenography and animation, with her work showcased in exhibitions across Italy, Germany, Spain, and Japan.
